Pre-requisites
Before you can create a server on Bytevora, you need to have the following:
- An account on Bytevora (duh?)
- Atleast 1 server slot available on your account
- Atleast 25% CPU available on your account
- Atleast 64MB of RAM available on your account
- Atleast 64MB of storage available on your account
You can find more information about resources and how to get them in our Resources documentation. Our service must also have available space otherswise you may not be able to create a server even with the required resources on your account.
Creating a Server:
To create a server, simply click on the "Create Server" button on the storefront page of the panel. From there, the steps are pretty self-explanatory however you can find a more detailed guide below.
Step 1: Basic Server Details
In the first step, you need to enter the basic details of your server. This includes the name of your server and an optional description. The server name does come prefilled, so it is not required to change it if you do not want to. Once you have entered the details, click on the "Next Step" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Resources
In the second step, you need to allocate the resources for your server. You can adjust the CPU, RAM and storage resources for your server. The resources must already be available on your account to allocate them to your server. Once you have allocated the resources, click on the "Next Step" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Deployment
In the third and final step, you need to select where your server will be deployed and what you want running on it. You can select the location of your server from the dropdown menu and then select the category of the software you want to run on your server (For example "Coding Languages" or "Game Servers"). After selecting the category, you can select the specific software you want to run on your server (For example "Node.js" or "Minecraft"). Once you have selected the deployment details, click on the "Create Server" button to create your server. The deployment process may take a few minutes, so be patient. Once the deployment is complete, you can start using your server!

Possible Errors:
When creating a server, you may encounter some errors. Below are some of the possible errors and how to resolve them.
No Free Slots Available
This error occurs when our service does not have any free slots available to create your server. This is a temporary issue and usually resolves itself after a few hours when other users delete their servers or when we add more capacity to our service. If you encounter this error, we recommend waiting for a few hours and then trying to create your server again.

Coming Soon...
We are still in the early stages of development and there are many features and error messages that are not yet implemented. We will update this documentation as we continue to develop our service and add more features. Stay tuned for more updates!
