What are Server Subusers?

Server subusers are users who you can invite to have access to your Bytevora server with specific permissions. This allows you to delegate access and management tasks to other users without giving them full control over your server. Subusers can have different levels of access and permissions, allowing you to customize their access based on their role and responsibilities.

How to invite a Subuser to Your Bytevora Server

To invite a subuser to your Bytevora server, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your server's dashboard on the Bytevora platform.
  2. Click on the "Users" tab to access the subuser management interface.
  3. Click on the "New User" button to open the subuser invitation form.
  4. Enter the email address of the user you want to invite and select the permissions you want to grant them. You can always update their permissions later if needed.
  5. Click on the "Invite User" button to send the invitation to the user. The invited user will receive an email with instructions on how to accept the invitation and access the server.

Subuser Permissions

When inviting a subuser to your Bytevora server, you can choose which permissions to grant them. Each permission is clearly labled with a description of what it allows the subuser to do. This allows for fine-grained control over what actions a subuser can perform on your server, ensuring that they only have access to the features and functions that are relevant to their role in your project.

How to remove a Subuser from Your Bytevora Server

To remove a subuser from your Bytevora server, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your server's dashboard on the Bytevora platform.
  2. Click on the "Users" tab to access the subuser management interface.
  3. Find the subuser you want to remove in the list of subusers and click on the Delete icon next to their email address.
  4. Confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Delete" button in the confirmation dialog. The subuser will be removed from your server and will immediately have their access revoked. They will no longer be able to log in or perform any actions on your server.
