What are Server Notes?

Server notes are a feature that allows you to create and manage notes for your Bytevora server. These notes can be used to document important information about your server, such as configuration details, troubleshooting steps, or any other relevant information that you want to keep track of. Server notes can be accessed and edited through the Bytevora platform, making it easy to keep all your server-related information organized in one place. You can create multiple notes for your server, and each note can be edited and updated as needed. This feature is particularly useful for teams who are managing multiple servers, as it allows them to share important information and keep everyone on the same page. Please note that we do NOT backup your server notes, so in the event of data loss, your notes may be permanently lost. We recommend keeping a backup of your notes outside of the Bytevora platform to prevent any potential loss of important information.

How to Create and Manage Server Notes

To create and manage server notes for your Bytevora server, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your server's dashboard on the Bytevora platform.
  2. Click on the "Notes" tab to access the notes section.
  3. To create a new note, click on the "New Note" button. This will open a new note editor where you can enter the title and content of your note.
  4. After entering the title and content of your note, click on the "Save" button to save your note. Your new note will now be listed in the notes section.
  5. To edit an existing note, click on the note you want to edit. This will open the note editor where you can make changes to the title and content of your note. After making your changes, click on the "Save" button to save your updates.
  6. To delete a note, find the note you wish to delete then click on the "Delete" button to permanently delete the note from your server. This action cannot be undone.
