OAuth Overview

OAuth (Open Authorization) is a standard protocol that allows third-party applications to access user data without exposing their credentials. It enables users to grant limited access to their resources on one site to another site, without sharing their login information. We use OAuth to allow users to log in using their existing accounts from trusted providers, making the authentication process more secure and convenient.

Discord OAuth

We support Discord OAuth, allowing users to log in using their Discord accounts. To set up Discord OAuth on an existing account, simply navigate to the OAuth settings in your account and link your Discord account. Once linked, you can use your Discord credentials to log in seamlessly. Setting up Discord OAuth does not prevent you from using your email and password to log in, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred authentication method.

Google OAuth

We also support Google OAuth, enabling users to log in using their Google accounts. To set up Google OAuth, go to the OAuth settings in your account and connect your Google account. After linking, you can use your Google credentials for easy and secure access to your Bytevora account. Setting up Google OAuth does not stop you from using your email and password to log in, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred authentication method.
